Almost, Maine

Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream. Be sure to bring a thick layer of clothing as the weather forecast will be predicting some snow!

The Red Dragon Players, Stephen F. Austin High School’s award-winning theater performance company proudly presents MEAN GIRLS - The Musical - High School Version with music performed by members of the AHS Band!

Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady and her friends devise a "Revenge Party" to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a Queen Bee without getting stung.
